Mark is a Western North Carolina native, private pilot, and aviation enthusiast who is hopeful to earn his instrument rating within the following year. With background in the performing arts and higher education, Mark did not develop an interest in aviation until his first year in graduate school, when he boarded a jet for the first time in his life. The rest is history. After completing his Master's degree, Mark moved back to North Carolina where he began the pursuit of learning to fly. Receiving his Private Pilot Certificate in 2012, Mark hopes to continually advance his ratings and aspires to become a Certified Flight Instructor in order to share his passion with those eager to learn, and also hopes to use his certificates for ministry-minded aviation.
